Matterhorn has to be (and has been for at least the last two years) without a doubt Wellington's most fabulous restaurant. Fantastic food, easy, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and absolutely DELICIOUS food!!
Not at all pretentious , perfect for all occassions. Definitely more pricey than your average-joe joint but worth every penny. More reasonable than most of the other Wellington retaurants in the same market.
A great way to spend a relaxed evening with any crowd, you'll love the food and the staff which is always a plus. Awesome drinks - there's nothing they won't have!
Faults? The butter served with fresh bread at the beginning of the meal is definitely lacking a bit more oopmh. Nothing drastic but definitely noticable! Other than that - definitely my favourite pick for Wellington 2010!
